Impala as shop time permits.
In the shop now for work, including:
1) Starting with the brakes (4 wheel drum) including:
Upgrading to a dual master, all new brake lines, wheel cylinders & parking brake
cables
and hardware.
Brakes shoes are 70% front and 85% rear and special aggressive friction
so we're leaving these on.
Drums are in good shape with more than .080 left to D.O.T.
safe spec (on average)
2) We've also started removing fenders so we can hang replacement the sheet metal:
1 - New Old Stock - GM Factory Original Front Fender - Good luck finding one of
these!
1 - Used (From Desert Valley Arizona) Front Fender, Very SOLID,
no rot or holes, lvery ight surface rust only.
1 - New NOS Repro (older correct gauge) Door Skin
Next will be the floors - front left and
right, then trunk center and sides and MAYBE
a fuel cell, then shave off some exterior trim
BUT we have not started on that yet.

THE PRICE WILL INCREASE
AS WORK IS COMPLETED
So, BEFORE we go much further YOU can STILL buy this car

As this car sits
NOW it does need: interior & trunk floors, OR wheel tubs -
fuel tank/cell - and the tin work that goes with all that.
Sold "As Is" it will "lot" drive. We've installed a temporary carb on it
and it runs OK.
Newer Holley 850 needing a rebuild included.
The fuel tank is removed and was junked.
There's a nurse tank in the trunk, for now!
