Geo. Cook Chevrolet / Conoco Gas station in Newark, IL.

Yes, this is the same building as in the "Now" picture
separated in time by almost 60 years.
Built around 1939, with the help of friends and family
as a replacement for the first COOK CHEVROLET.
The original building, which was located across the street, burnt down.
That site is now a Newark town playground.
This new building was built using windows, beams, and clay block
salvaged from the 1933 Chicago World's Fair
