EV'S - Electric Vehicles  

I've been looking for a car to convert to electric.
I just had to hit myself upside the head
because --I already own a perfect candidate, a Sunbeam Alpine!
 more to come as this progresses.

 I will always enjoy  i.c.e
(internal combustion engine) transportation vehicles and equipment
 but I now work toward making i.c.e. obsolete except for limited pleasure use like;
cruise nights, club outings, parades, etc.

This project started with a very solid body with only minor rust in the outer rocker areas, rear wheel well arch and the very lower edges of the rear quarter panels, a few dents
and just a trace of bondo.
I added inner rocker arm stiffing panels way back when I intended to make this a tiger clone. Just a small change in plans, again!
The unibody X frame (which is the usual issue with all of these) is one of the most solid
I've seen since way back when these were new!
It's kept stored inside these days.

I will be selling off all the i.c.e. components of this car which includes  This tired engine, a series IV 2 w/barrel down draft, runs,
no oil smoke, but noisy bottom end when it warms up, even so still DRIVABLE!

ALSO - For those who may be interested I have a fresh dual side draft complete 1750 C.C. available.
PLUS -MORE PARTS from 4 other Alpines that I've stripped of ALL usable bits.
